The HI Chicago Hostel is a gem in the heart of Chicago. The helpful staff made my stay with a baby stress-free. The leisure room offered a perfect place to unwind, and the proximity to iconic landmarks allowed for memorable family outings, enhancing our bond. I appreciated the convenience of the location and the comfort of the private room, making it a great value for families seeking a budget-friendly stay.

During my stay, I met a lively Girl Scout troop and joined their Thanksgiving Feast. The hostel is a hub for global citizens, offering fun programs like cultural learning through food. The staff helped us navigate Chicago's vibrant music scene. The location was perfect, just a stroll from famous landmarks. The mix of younger and older travelers gave the place a dynamic vibe. I even spotted some original timber in the ceiling! The eco-friendly initiatives were a bonus. a memorable experience.

During my transit in Chicago, I stayed at Hi Chicago Hostel and found it conveniently located just 0.2 km from Harrison and only 1.6 km from Chicago Union, making it easy to access transportation options for my onward journey. The economical accommodations and warm welcome from the hostel staff made for a pleasant stay, and the proximity to popular attractions like the Skydeck at Willis Tower and the Art Institute of Chicago provided great opportunities for exploration.

One minor inconvenience during my stay was the lack of quilts/duvets/comforters in the room, only blankets, making it a bit challenging to stay warm during the cold weather. The hard mattress and difficulty in regulating room temperature with a shared thermostat were also slight drawbacks in an otherwise enjoyable experience.

Delicious Traditional Thanksgiving Feast. I had the pleasure of enjoying a Thanksgiving feast prepared by volunteers and staff. The spread was as plentiful as a horn of plenty, and the festive atmosphere made me feel like a pilgrim about to embark on a hearty meal. It was a delightful experience that left me feeling grateful and satisfied.

I had my heart set on visiting Millennium Park, and Hi pleasantly surprised me with its central location and comfortable accommodation. The complimentary continental breakfast was a great start to the day in the heart of the city.

Everything is perfect.

The two sleeping rooms with a lounge/seating area, kitchenette, and bathroom at High Chicago Hostel were a pleasant surprise. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had their own lockers, providing a sense of security. It felt like a home away from home, and the economical price made it even better. The free Wi-Fi throughout the property was a great added bonus.

The check-in time at 4 pm and check out at 11 am were a bit inconvenient. Arriving early and having to wait for the room was a downside, especially after a long journey.

The location is simply mind-blowing, super close to downtown and public transport. The walking tour and Green Mill visits organized by the volunteers are pure genius - a fantastic way to make friends and explore the city, especially if you're traveling solo. The friendly staff, included breakfast, and secure rooms with locks add to the jaw-dropping value of this place.

During my transit in Chicago, I stayed at Hi Chicago Hostel, and I was pleased with its convenient location. The hostel is only 200 meters from Harrison and a 20-minute walk from Chicago Union, making it extremely accessible for travelers. the hostel is just 20 km from Midway International, which is great for those needing to catch a flight without a long commute.

One minor inconvenience was the lack of a remote control for the AC or heater in the room. the bed only had a tiny blanket with no bed cover, which made for a chilly night.

The staff were "more than happy" to assist me and I truly enjoyed the traditional Thanksgiving feast. The hostel's green initiatives made me feel like such a global citizen.

We loved the spacious and clean rooms with daily cleaning service. The smart TV was a great addition. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, offering a variety of options. The staff was kind and always in a good mood. The hostel had free billiards and table tennis, as well as movies playing in the main room. The design was impressive with colorful walls and plenty of opportunities for activities and discounts. The price for the value provided was incredible.

Felt totally at home, no reason to complain.
